Yarrow are flexible plants, they do surprisingly well in both dry and medium moist conditions. However, well-drained, medium wet soil is best and heavy clay and moist, rich soils should be avoided. Additionally, it does well in both dry western conditions and hot, humid conditions. (Zones 3-9) These prolific growers thrive in full sun and will mature to a height of about 18 to 24 inches tall and will spread 18 to 24 inches wide. They are deer- resistant and can be divided to form new plants in the Spring or Fall of their 3rd year.
